Our Story

The Best Part Was How Unexpected It Was

The best part of our story is how unexpected it was. After everything life had thrown at both of us, neither of us imagined we’d find a love this easy. From our very first conversations, it felt like we had known each other for years.

In just nine short months, we’ve built a relationship filled with laughter, trust, adventure and unconditional support. For the first time in a long time, home isn’t a place. It’s a person.

The Proposal

Sunrise Talks

The weekend we got engaged wasn’t fancy or staged. We spent it down the shore with friends who have become family, laughing until our faces hurt, making memories and simply enjoying life.

I wrote Nicole a song called Sunrise Talks about all the little things I love about her, then took her for a walk on the beach at sunrise and asked her to marry me.

What made it special wasn’t just the proposal. It was being there with the woman I love and surrounded by people who have become part of our story.
